About Jeremy

Jeremy has over ten years of experience in the private equity real estate and banking industry. I started my career with GE Capital in the world renown Financial Management Program (“FMP”) which is widely known as the top leadership development program for finance professionals to become CFO’s and CEO’s.

After developing the foundation of corporate finance, FP&A and investor relations, I transitioned my career to Goldman Sachs Asset Management which introduced me to private and public funds at an industry titan.

After working for two Fortune 100 companies, my career discovery began, and I was able to leverage the diversity of my experience to break into the world of private equity real estate. I served as the Assistant Vice President of Fund Management at GLP, the third largest global private equity real estate firm with over $120 billion in assets under management. In this capacity, I oversaw a $5.5 billion logistics real estate investment fund consisting of 250+ assets across 20 U.S. markets. I focused on portfolio performance, deal execution, strategic planning, investor relations, and finance. After deploying three successful funds, we sold the U.S. platform to Blackstone for approximately $18.7 billion, which currently stands as the largest-ever private global real estate transaction. 

Following the sale of GLP U.S., I worked for AJ Capital Partners where I had the opportunity to build out the Portfolio Management and Investor Relations functions. I served as a Principal for the firm where I managed a $5.0+ billion portfolio of diversified strategies across hospitality, multifamily, build-to-rent, mixed-use developments and other niche assets. During this time, I also had the opportunity to work on various complex transactions, including a merger and preferred equity raise. Additionally, I developed and ran the firms first rotational internship program (investments, asset management, portfolio management, and capital markets) which attracted top talent from tier 1 universities. Today, I serve as the Managing Director of Investor Relations and Fund Operations for Coastal Ridge Real Estate, a $5.0+ billion real estate private equity firm that invests in student housing, multifamily and build-to-rent strategies.  

I hold a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Marketing from the Henry B. Tippie College of Business at the University of Iowa with a Minor in Spanish.
